Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have received a disappointing news from UK amid the duke's remarks regarding reconciliation with the royal family.
Royal expert Richard Palmer took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared Royal family favourability ratings for May 2025 conducted by the YouGov.
He continued, “Some troubling results for the Sussexes after that interview. The monarchy’s still popular.”
According to the polls, Archie and Lilibet doting mother continues to score poorly among the public, with only 20% having a positive opinion of her while 65% hold a negative view.

The report says while these differ only a little from the February survey, the one in five with a positive view of the Duchess of Sussex is the lowest YouGov has recorded since it started tracking her popularity in 2017.
“Attitudes towards the Sussexes continue to differ greatly between the generations – while 18-24 year olds are split on the pair, they are very widely disliked by the oldest Britons, with 81-86% having an unfavourable view of them,” the YouGov says in its report based on the survey.
The poll results have been announced after Prince Harry took part in an emotional interview with the BBC about his desire for reconciliation with the rest of the royal family earlier this month.
