Meghan Markle was in shock after seeing her husband Prince Harry in tears following a bombshell decision from King Charles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were gifted Frogmore Cottage to live in by the late Queen in 2019, but the couple's time in the property was short-lived as they had to had say goodbye to royal life in 2020.

"The King's decision was a shock for the couple even Harry moved to tears," claimed the source at the time.

It was really a very difficult decision for the couple to take away their belongings from the five-bedroom property." added the insider.

Their interview with Oprah Winfrey stirred considerable tension, showing no sign of abating. It even led to the couple being asked to hand back the keys to their beloved Frogmore Cottage.

Harry claimed in his memoir Spare that he and Meghan were "evicted" from the property following their royal departure, prompted by a request from King Charles.

In an interview with The Cut, Meghan cryptically told how while packing she found a diary and expressed her surprise at her past entries.

She said: "You go back and you open drawers and you 're like, Oh my gosh. This is what I was writing in my journal there?" Her trip down memory lane raised concerns over potential new disclosures.

It came after she also said in the same interview: "It's interesting, I've never had to sign anything that restricts me from talking. I can talk about my whole experience and make a choice not to."

When asked by the interviewer why she hasn't indulged anyone about her true experience, Meghan replied that she was "still healing".

"I think forgiveness is really important. It takes a lot more energy to not forgive. But it takes a lot of effort to forgive. I've really made an active effort, especially knowing that I can say anything."

Speaking at the time on True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, Roya Nikkhah said Meghan had issued "thinly veiled threats" and hinted that a memoir could be on the cards in the future.

She explained: "The thinly veiled threats that came in [Meghan's interview with The Cut] ...I think [she] probably hopes it does [feel threatening] to the Royal Family...

"[But] I think there's a lot of eye-rolling, going, 'We're used to this by now'... [But] that phrase, 'I have a lot to say until I don't' and, 'I've never signed anything that restricts me from talking'... there was a very strong inference there."

The royal commentator continued: "She's mentioned a couple of times in the last year or two that she kept a journal, and I think there is a very strong inference that Meghan could write her own memoir."

Recently, Meghan touched on releasing a potential memoir. During a chat on the Jamie Kern Lima Show, Jamie asked Meghan, who has already written a children's book called The Bench, if she would release another book.

Meghan responded as saying: "Yes, maybe, for sure." However, she added: "And then, you know, I think people are often curious if I'm going to write a memoir, but I've got a lot more life to live before I'm there."

Kate Middleton shares positive message after shocking blow to Meghan Markle

Kensington Palace releases Princess Kate’s personal message as future Queen follows senior royals' legacy

On the official Instagram account of The Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate shared a delightful video featuring the highlights of the event and Patrick’s thoughts after receiving the honour from Catherine.

The Instagram reel, which saw Kate in a Victoria Beckham’s designed outfit, was accompanied by a message from the Princess noting, “Honoured to present the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design to @patrick__mcdowell.”

“A huge well done to Patrick, whose bold, sustainable vision is helping to shape the future of British fashion. Their commitment to creativity, community and circular design is truly inspiring,” she added.

In addition to this, a collage of Kate and Patrick's photos as he received the award from the mom-of-three was also shared on the Instagram Stories.

This was the second time Princess Kate gave the award which was first presented by The late Queen at London Fashion Week in 2018.

What is the purpose of the Award?

The prestigious honour is presented to honour the role of British design and fashion UK's culture and trade since its inaugural in 2018.

It is presented every year to an emerging British fashion designer with an "exceptional talent and originality" and "strong sustainable policies."

How many Royals have presented the award so far?

Queen Elizabeth II presented Richard Quinn with the inaugural Award in 2018.

Then in 2019, she presented the award to Bethany Williams as The Duchess of Cornwall.

In 2020, The Princess Royal presented the Award to Rosh Mantani.

The Duchess of Edinburgh (as Countess of Wessex) Sophie virtually presented Priya Ahluwalia with the Award in 2021 due to COVID-19.

Then in 2022, Kate, who was the Duchess of Cambridge at that time presented the Award to Saul Nash.

While in 2023, King Charles himself presented the accolade to Foday Dumbuya.

In 2024, Sophie once again had the honour to present the Award to Steven Stokey-Daley.

This uplifting message from the wife of Prince William comes after she took the internet by storm with choice of outfit for the fashion event.

Given Victoria and David Beckham's distance from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle since their feud with the Royal Family, Kate's choice to wear Victoria's design is seen as a shocking blow to the duchess.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent shockwaves to the Beckham family after their messy fallout with the Sussexes and their growing alliance with the royal family.

As David and Victoria Beckham are dealing with their own family feud, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seemingly swooped in, in what appears to be a revenge move as they extended an unexpected invite.

The news comes just days after Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeably absent from David’s 50th birthday celebrations as rumours emerged. A source told People Magazine that there are “tensions between Brooklyn and Nicola and the family”.

The rift is reportedly between Brooklyn and brother Romeo – who is dating an ex of his elder brother.

According to The Sun source said that Harry and Meghan were “very empathetic and very kind to them both”.

“Harry was fully aware of the situation and offered Brooklyn his unwavering support as someone who has been through similar,” the insider claimed to the outlet.

They noted that Nicola found “common ground” and after both they both faced accusations of wrecking their husbands’ families.

While the timing of the dinner appeared to be intentional, insiders dismissed that was the case.

“This was an unexpected invite, but one gratefully received by Brooklyn and Nicola, who both feel pretty battle-wounded,” a source familiar with the intimate event said.

Meanwhile, Harry himself is going through tough time with his family following his ‘devastating’ loss in UK security bid. He revealed that King Charles is not speaking to him because of the case but said that he was open to reconciliation.

He also noted that some members of his family will never forgive him but he is willing to move on from the rift.

Meghan Markle seemingly sent her brother-in-law, Prince William, a subtle message following a major dig.

The Duchess of Sussex shared an update as she and husband Prince Harry enjoyed an evening at the James Taylor concert on Tuesday.

The next photo showed Harry and Meghan posing with the six-time Grammy winner.

“In my concert era,” Meghan wrote in the caption adding a heart emoji and music note emoji. “Thanks James!”

The post comes just hours after it was confirmed that William would be appearing in an upcoming episode of Clarkson’s Farm. The host Jeremy Clarkson is known for making brutal remarks about Meghan.

At the time, Clarkson made a reference to the ‘shame’ scene in Game of Thrones for Meghan and wrote that he “hated” her in his column for The Sun, which was later taken down.

While Clarkson apologised later for his “clumsy” comment, Harry clapped back at the journalist for fuelling a “pandemic of violence against women” in “horrific” comments.

While the concert took place a day before, the fact that Meghan chose to share at a particular time. As the couple appeared in high spirits, it appears to be a subtle message to the royals, especially William, that they are now unfazed by their antics

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hit new low in UK popularity polls

The Sussexes are at the bottom of the barrel while Prince William, Kate Middleton sit at the top
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seeing their UK popularity plummet to new lows, according to fresh YouGov polling.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent moves, including Harry’s bombshell BBC interview and Meghan’s controversial business ventures, have been attributed to the decline, as reported by GB News.

Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker called it a “steady decline,” telling GB News that Meghan’s efforts to rebrand — from launching her lifestyle line American Riviera Orchard to releasing her Netflix series With Love, Meghan — haven’t helped.

“Some people just liked it as an easy watch,” he said of the series, “but a lot of people clearly thought it wasn’t great… for example, it wasn’t filmed in her own kitchen.”

Walker added that Harry’s popularity took another hit after his recent BBC interview, where he spoke out about losing his UK security appeal.

“[Harry was] basically saying it was incredibly unfair… the institution is out to get him,” Walker explained, noting, “It was a bit of a rant.”

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales remain firmly favored by the public — Prince William boasts a 75% approval rating, with Kate Middleton just behind at 72%.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have received a disappointing news from UK amid the duke's remarks regarding reconciliation with the royal family.

Royal expert Richard Palmer took to X, formerly Twitter handle and shared Royal family favourability ratings for May 2025 conducted by the YouGov.

He continued, “Some troubling results for the Sussexes after that interview. The monarchy’s still popular.”

According to the polls, Archie and Lilibet doting mother continues to score poorly among the public, with only 20% having a positive opinion of her while 65% hold a negative view.

The report says while these differ only a little from the February survey, the one in five with a positive view of the Duchess of Sussex is the lowest YouGov has recorded since it started tracking her popularity in 2017.

“Attitudes towards the Sussexes continue to differ greatly between the generations – while 18-24 year olds are split on the pair, they are very widely disliked by the oldest Britons, with 81-86% having an unfavourable view of them,” the YouGov says in its report based on the survey.

The poll results have been announced after Prince Harry took part in an emotional interview with the BBC about his desire for reconciliation with the rest of the royal family earlier this month.
